We are women from all the parts of Brazil
committed with the UNITY and STRUGLE for another world for us
and for the others who will come:
• A different world, a world of equality where its half women
part is not discriminated;
• A world that eliminate the suffer of the women workers,
peasants and all the women that don’t have where to let the
kids to go to work;
• A world that don’t avoid the creation and the scientific
production, breaking with an aliening culture of the women’s
role;
• A world where women have access to work, professional
qualification, public nursery, fare salaries and equal to the
men;
• A world were the domestic and sexual violence can be
defeated with public instruments that can guarantee life and
human rights for women;
• A world that can assume its multiracial color and that
condemn all the forms of discrimination for race, color,
generation, sexual orientation;
In this way, we want a world of peace and
social justice; free of the multinational and financial
capital domination, for free and sustainable access to nature,
for democratization of knowledge and information, for a world
order based on sovereignty, self determination and people’s
rights; for the end of the imperialist aggressions that
oppress the people and violent women; for guaranteeing the
economic, social, human and cultural rights, specially the
rights to eat, health, job, education, living an work; for an
economic centered in people and sustainability; for political
structures really democratic with popular participation in
decisions and public money control.

The UBM (Brazilian Women Union) is a national
organization, not follower, with not profitable goals, founded
in 1988, which reunite women in struggle against gender
discrimination, racial, religious and any other nature,
targeting the rights defense and women needs against
oppression and for emancipation. Struggles for union and women
participation side by side with other society segments for
national sovereignty, social rights , for a Brazil and a
citizen world – with social and gender equality, free of all
oppression and exploration. It participates in articulations
of women movement and the national and international feminist
movement.
